Toralei's POV[]
I looked around. No one. Absoulte soletude. I knew I was alone. No one wanted me, I was just a simple waste of time and space. Whenever I called for help everyone just yelled at me saying "Get of of my lawn you homeless waste of space, I don't know what you want just leave!" Horrible memories began to flood my memory, then I began to cry. After two whole minutes of sobbing I made my way to the soup kitchen like I do each day, it's the only time where I can get meals that that I don't have to pay for. As I made my way through the crowded downtown streets, my eyes were swelled from crying endlessly and I was carrying my "anything will help" sign around. I know people thought I was some sort of runaway who had no where to go and left her parents for some sort of stupid reason. I mean why have parents if you are just going to treat them like trash, then live your life on your own? From what I've heard parents are supposed to support their children. Of course I didn't know, my parents probably left me alone to die somewhere. So I arrived at the soup kitchen and proped up my sign agenst the wall and went to get my food. Along the way I met a nice lady who was volentering. She seemed nice so I began to talk to her. I fergot her name but It turns out she has a orphanage called "A Home for girls". Then she asked how old I was. I replied "fourteen" and then she asked "Well where are your parents?" I manegged to stammer "I don't have any.". After I was done eating she asked me if she would like to live at her orpanage. Of cource I replied yes! Extacted we walked to her orphanage where there were alot of girls my age there. They seemd very excited to meet me. The woman said "Everyone meet Toralei, she is going to live here with us!" in a kind, motherly tone
