Hokay, so I got a new diary for my birthday. Not the worse gift my dad could have gotten me, all things considered. At least it's not another sheep. We have enough of those.
Anyways, uh... Yeah. Is it always this awkward writing in these?
First day of school today. It was okay, I guess. I've been homeschooled up to this point, so it definitely could have gone worse. I wasn't even the tallest person there! Isn't that great?! Minimal teasing, too. Not much aside from the usual stares and "how's the weather up there" comments. Seems like I'm the only cyclops girl, but that's okay.
Cousin Deuce is doing good. It was nice seeing him again. He's dating this super-preppy girl named Cleo. She struck me as sort of a snob, but she was pretty nice to me, though that's probably just because Deuce asked her to be. At least I'll have a bit of protection...
Classes are pretty fun so far. Ms. Kindergruber, the home ick teacher, was really nice and understanding about my, er, diet. A kindred spirit, perhaps? Really wish people would stop dropping hints about the Casketball team, though. Just because I'm tall doesn't mean I'm interested.
Still, all in all it was a good day. I'll let you know if anything else comes up, diary! Until then!
Was partnered with a guy named Heath Burns for Mad Science today. He was super scary cute. I actually managed to introduce myself with minimal stutturing, which I am quite proud of. Then he asked me "What do they FEED you giants?!" and laughed.
Please. Kill me now. TT__TT
Okay, I don't think Heath meant anything mean by the above comment. I mean, he's kind of a jerk, but I'm pretty sure it was meant as playful teasing.
Even so, I wish my stature wasn't the first thing everyone noticed about me... :(
