Chapter 1[]
Lagoona Blue was with Gil at her locker, and they were talking. "So, Gil, you mentioned to me and Clawdeen that you had nothing to do for the Summer about an hour ago, so can you stay with me for two weeks at my place? My aunt and uncle are coming and they both said they wanted to meet you!", Lagoona told Gil excitedly.
Gil's a fresh water boy, and one of his issues are: His parents. They won't let him fang out with salt water monsters, which meant Lagoona. "Umm, I can't. My parents, well, they said no. They said I can't see you, text you, or send screams at you on my phone", Gil said uncomfortably, not wanting to mention his parents. "C'mon, Freshy! Your parents are wrong about my people. Remember when you met my parents, and you liked them?", Lagoona reminded him. "Oh, yeah. They're nice", Gil said as he reads his book, not wanting to bring up anything that would make Lagoona have excuses of why he needs to ignore his parents. "Oh, fine!", Lagoona says stubbornly as she puts her books away inside her locker and walks away slowly. Gil, however, didn't even notice that Lagoona walked away. He was busy reading his book and leaning against Lagoona's locker.
Clawdeen and Cleo, were laughing dramatically at the bench outside Monster High. "Hey Lagoona, figured everything out with Gil yet?", Clawdeen asks Lagoona in a polite tone. "Oh, yes. He can't home to my place though. His parents are becoming more strict", Lagoona said sadly. "You don't even know how my dad reacts when I have parties, he is always on Nefera's bad side and not on my good side!", Cleo complained. "I'm sure he'll get back at you somehow", Clawdeen said. "I hope so....", Lagoona replied with no enthusiasm.
Chapter 2[]
Lagoona decided if Gil can't come over, then Rihanna Fresh, her best friend for her whole unlife, could come stay with her. Rihanna was busy drinking a smoothie with a big eyeball on top. "Hey Ri! Wanna come fang at my place?", Lagoona asked cheerfully. "Sorry, no", Rihanna replies sadly.
