Monster Kids is about the little siblings of not too famous Monster High characters. It stars Jay Jekyll.

- Jay Jekyll, a young, dancer normie boy who feels odd and weird around his new middle school. Much to his older brother's dismay, he enrolls at Monster Middle School and can turn into Harry Hyde when he hears loud music. (Jackson/Holt brother) He wears a yellow zip-up hoodie and blue skinny jeans along with white sneakers. His hair is brown and covering one of his eyes, in an emo style.
- Ivy McFlytrap is the environmental friendly, stylist best friend of Jay Jekyll and supports him & and Harry Hyde, no matter what happens. Ivy is always sticking by her friends. Ivy is the girl everyone likes. (Venus sister) Ivy wears a bright green tank top with a purple longsleeve shirt underneath. She wears purple jeans with green zig zags and green sandals. She has golden blond hair and bright green skin.
- Franny K. Stein is a shy and awkward geeky girl who can use electricity to give new life to inanimate things. She developed a crush on Jay Jekyll, though it is minor & unknown if it will be carried out. Franny is ridiculed by her other friends, but is loyal and caring. (Frankie sister) For season 1, she wears black & white pigtails with a faded blue shirt and pink plaid leggings with faded blue converses.
- Bility Cloak, who considers himself 'not Jay's friend' has mean & rude personality, though is a hard working writer, and is also popular. He dislikes being left out because of his invisibility (Invisibility Cloak is real name) and is dating Plasma Vondergeist. (Invisibilly brother) For season 1 he wears a black camouflage jumpsuit and has light blue hair with silver streaks in it. He wears silver boots.
- Hoodie Doll, a happy and upbeat spirit voodoo doll Prince who does not really know what is going on around him. Hoodie has become one of Jay's best buddies despite his confusion about the world around him. Hoodie also acts like a baby sometimes due to being new in the world, while Franny is more a custom to it. Hoodie has light maroon skin and a yellow patch on his left cheek. He wears no shoes or pants, but wears an orange t-shirt. He has dark and ragged maroon hair. (HooDude brother)
- Plasma Vondergeist, a pretty and sneaky ghost girl who journals about the life of other students, but unlike her sister, she does not stretch the truth at all. Plasma is kind to everyone around her and meditates. Her quote is 'it is what it is'. Plasma seems to be the love interest of Jay, despite her relationship with Bility. Plasma wears black skinny jeans and a white longsleeve shirt/dress, with curly and light purple hair with silver sunglasses resting on top.
